Generally yes.

Here is the chance of death due to COVID-19 based on age in 1000 COVID-19 patients:

≤ 9 years =0

10 to 19 years= <2

20 to 49  years = >3

50 to 59 years = ~13

60 to 69. years = 36

70 to 79 years = 80 

≥80 years = 148
